Hi everyone,

I’m Allan, a Kiwi (New Zealander) and ex tech nerd who decided to switch to the hospitality industry just over a year before a global pandemic began. Perfect timing, right?!
​
I’m passionate about providing our guests with a unique experience whether it be dining, drinks, entertainment or just making new friends. The Hub RWC was started with the vision of it being a venue for both work and play - cafe and shared workspace during the day/live entertainment, bar and venue for hire at night. Due to the ongoing post-pandemic challenges, we are primarily focusing on events but hope to return to expanded hours once it becomes viable.
​We have a capacity in excess of 200 across two floors of our 1930’s character brick building, plus a large outdoor patio area. Our dine-in menu is expanding and we also offer in-house catering for events.
Of course the pandemic has been challenging for the business, but it did provide the opportunity to pivot to adding a unique, New Zealand-inspired food menu, and to improve the event space for the future. This business is like a set of blank jigsaw pieces that we’re filling in ourselves over time, to eventually build the final picture. I’m excited to have you along for the ride!
